Behind The Scene "Pelantikan D1 STMKG Tahun 2014" :D

Relating with my previous posting, it's still 'bout the-most-awaited-STMKG's schedule in this year, "Wisuda D4 dan Pelantikan D3 & D1 Sekolah Tinggi Meteorologi dan Geofisika".

It's my very first time having such an inauguration of course, so it was new for me. Hmm.. but, tbh it didn't left "wow" impression and the sanctity to me. I don't know why, maybe because it's just a D1 inauguration. Well, i meant.... it would had become more sacred if it was my D4 inauguration, not D1.

It took place on BMKG office center, soooo... as usual, everyone had to wake up and leave for campus earlier. It's kinda tradition here, if you have an schedule which is took place on BMKG office center in Kemayoran, you have to leave for there right after dawn! Considering the distances and the traffic jam you won't never know when it will happen. Sooooo.... my kost-mate and I woke up at 3 am, took a bath right after, had a hot Energe* for my early breakfast, dressed up, and went to campus with zombie-walk style. Fyi, it even hadn't been at 5 am yet!

We walked and gathered on Jl. Pinguin to got our bus, and went to BMKG office center by bus together. And it was about 7 am when we all arrived there. Then, alhamdulillah.. the committee prepared breakfast for us, hehe. And we did rehearsal before the main agenda.

It's not like another collage, that you only have to sit on your inauguration. This is STMKG, bro.. so we have inauguration ceremony here. Yes! Such a ceremony that you usually do on the ceremony field. You have to stand, form a line, with PDUB uniform+its PDH shoes (trust me you'll break your feet if you don't take off your shoes semetimes secretly on the ceremony) , no chair, no making single move... well, just thinking that you are playing pretending-like-statue games with your friends there.

And and aaaaand......... the main ceremony started at 10 am!

I was on the backmost line and i saw the whole ceremony from the big screen since it's kinda difficult to see right from with my eyes because i had unobstructed sight, hehe...

Speech and speech and speech and speech, then the inauguration, and the last was photo session. I took some photos then got my meal and went to mosque inside the area there.

The schedule finished at 1.30 pm and that time we had to comeback to our campus.
Bibi Kost and Mbak Ti** welcomed us right after we arrived at our kost. Thank you.

Ow ow.. i almost forget yah. There was something hotter than this inauguration. *deep breath*Well, right after the ceremony there was the official that suddenly came to the front stage and said that....
.. about our PKL placement..
.. the announcement of the placement..
.. would be announced that evening!
"haaaaaaaaaaa....?" is echoed whole auditorium. No one expected that the announcement would be announced that fast, at least not that day when we had our inauguration. For some of us, it was between shock, confused, afraid, happy, didn't-wanna-hear-the announcement, but wanted-to-hear-as soon as possible, too. It was mixed feeling.
What a feeling! Me? Well, i was sweating! Since we have signed a stamp that we've been ready to be placed and work throughout Indonesia. You won't never know that your work placement is on the conflict area, or on the state border, or on the island that it can't be found even on your map, or remote island that you can run surround it less than 15 minutes (only!)!
